Repairing of the Ships


There are a lot of developing and repairing works, devoted to renewing of operation parameters of the vessels, in the list of services offered by our company:

  • Repairing of the hull members with polymeric materials;
  • repairing of the quarters;
  • repairing and renewing of such hull members as: shell plating, set of ballast tanks, decks, deck machinery foundations;
  • manufacturing of fittings, installing the amplification bars;
  • Installation of support elements in areas of framing system instability.
  • Modernization and conversion of the fleet;

All of the repairing works are completed according to the actual state standards and requirements of Classification Societies.

The shiprepairing bases our company cooperate with are following:

  • Vilkovo Ship-Repairing Base
  • Shipsbuilding-Shiprepairing Factory of Kyliya
  • Ship-repairing bases of Izmail and other factories of Ukraine

During the last year the specialists of our company have took part in repairing of such ships:

Hull fault-detection

Our specialists perform fault detection of hull members, thickness measurements of hull members with making the registration of the necessary technical documentation and developing recommendations for repairing.

All of the specialists are well-qualified and have got skills and experience in this area.

Our specialists may go to the different regions of Ukraine, and abroad to other countries.


All of the measurements performed by ultrasonic devices which have valid verification certificates given by government institutions.

If there is a need, there is an opportunity to perform non-destruction control with magnetic and capillary-powder methods.

The residual thickness measurements are being recorded. The results of fault-detection are being marked on the blueprints of the shell plating, deck plating and inner bottom plating, inner side plating and transverse bulkheads and showing depreciations and damages, as well as showing in the tables of thickness measurements of main groups of hull members (dimensions of wear, dents, corrugations and other defects of the hull).

Fault-detection with thickness measurements allow to determine further values of renewing materials, which is reducing ship repairing time at the dock and save the customer’s funds at pre-repairing period.

Since the 2009 until 2012 our company has performed fault-detections and thickness measurements for different types of vessels, a total of more than 80 units.

During the last year our team-mates have performed the thickness measurements for such vessels as: m/v “Polaris”, m/v “Capella”, m/v “Spadina”, m/v “Amur-2510”, m/v “Amur-2532”, m/v “Amur-2527”, BS 3109 (hoy), m/v “Vama”, m/v “Sea Giant”, m/v “NTC Oil”, m/v “Volga-2”, m/v «Cyclone».

Our coworkers have been working at following ports: Izmail, Reny, Kiliya,Vilkovo, Illichivsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odessa, Sevastopol, Kerch, Rostov-on-Don, Tuzla.

The work was done under the supervision of classification societies namely Shipping Register of Ukraine; Bureau VERITAS, Transport Agency of Republic Moldova, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Russian River Register, Germanischer Lloyd.

Evaluation of the technical condition of the vessel

If you wish to buy or sell a vessel and there is a need to obtain a sufficiently capacious data of the condition of the vessel, machinery and other equipment, You are welcome to contact us – the job will be done efficiently and in short time.

Our company performs an expertise of the technical condition of the vessels, and submits report of the condition, the estimated value of ships, and suitability for further operations.

The specialists of our company get on board of the vessel and perform a technical expertise of structures and equipment.

Also the specialists of our company are ready to represent objective assessment of the need to repair the ship or renewing of hull members and gears, to check the amount of repairing works, represent the technical documentation which was agreed with Classification Society. We provide services of engineering support, determine the appropriate amount of repair, which would satisfy the Classification Society’s and the customer’s requirements.

The result of evaluation are presented in a full report, which consists of data about available external and internal damages, as well as a conclusion concerning technical condition of the vessel and it’s ability to be further exploatated. Such kind of report seems to be very useful during the pre-selling preparations of the ship or during it’s insurance.

Our company performs the determination of the technical condition of the hulls of the vessels by calculation method according to requirements of Shipping Register. These calculations are based on real residual thicknesses of hull members and the parameters of the deformations. Calculations allow to determine real margin of the hull durability devoted with exploitation of the vessel in the given area considering the estimated limit of the waves mode.
